Art Club 2.0 is a dynamic and innovative spin on the traditional art club, designed to explore creativity in new and exciting ways. Whether you're into classic art techniques or looking for something fresh, this club offers a broad spectrum of artistic opportunities. The flexible workshop schedule allows you to sign up for just one session or join all the offerings for a particular project. Keep in mid that most workshops will require advance registration and occasionally a small fee for materials. Whether you want to dabble in something new or refine your skills, Art Club 2.0 has something for everyone.

Best Buddies

North Hagerstown High School’s Best Buddies program is dedicated to fostering inclusion, friendship, and leadership for students of all abilities. The program pairs students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) with peer buddies to create meaningful one-to-one friendships. Members participate in a variety of social activities, school events, and community service projects that promote acceptance and understanding.

Through these experiences, students build confidence, develop communication and social skills, and contribute to a more inclusive school culture. Best Buddies also provides leadership opportunities, empowering participants to advocate for themselves and others while making lasting friendships that extend beyond the classroom.

Black student union

North Hagerstown High School’s Black Student Union (BSU) is a club dedicated to fostering diversity, inclusion, and cultural understanding. We explore different cultures in depth while working to debunk stereotypes and misconceptions. BSU provides students with opportunities to learn about their own heritage as well as the backgrounds of their peers, creating a stronger sense of community. Our events, such as parties and the annual Black History Bash featuring food, games, and performances from our North High Step Team, celebrate culture and bring students together. Above all, BSU is a safe and welcoming space where members can openly share their beliefs and perspectives, and experiences about the world around them.

Calculus Club

Calc Club gives upper level math students (AP Calculus and Higher) the opportunity to work with students to support them in their math studies. We partner with the Twilight program to tutor students in need of math help. This is a great way to strengthen your math knowledge, meet a LOT of new students throughout the school, and earn some SSL hours in the process.

Key Club International is the world's largest student-led high school service organization. Our district, the Capital District of Key Club International, represents Key Clubs all across the states of Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia.

Key Club International is a high school organization sponsored by Kiwanis International. Members of the NHHS Key Club are given opportunities to provide service, build character, and develop leadership.

The core values of Key Club International are leadership, character building, caring, and inclusiveness.

Women's Student Union

Our purpose is to encourage unity and empowerment among the young women at North High. Our club strives to create a community where us as women are not degraded but celebrated in a positive light. Division against other women is frivolous and futile, so forming a great group of women, especially during our teenage years, will build us up and strengthen our characters.
